Project Information:

The 145,000 sf warehouse for Classic Transportation by in large went very smoothly. While the weather played a huge role in getting the site ready for foundations, and the massive 800 yd plus concrete pours in October/November, mother nature cooperated. The only real challenge was navigating through the multiple approvals and permits necessary to start the project. Through close collaboration between FCC, M&B, EGLE, Allegan County, Dorr Leighton Water Works, Dorr Leighton Waste Water Authority, Leighton Township and Professional Code Inspectors, the team was able to obtain work through all the challenges inherent with the building, the utilities and the roadwork necessary for the project. In doing so, FCC and the project team was able to finish construction and obtain the certificate of occupancy one month ahead of schedule.
