Byrne Harmon, President

As our president, Byrne Harmon brings over 25 years of experience in building meaningful client relationships and providing a seamless construction experience from start to finish. Byrne has developed a lifelong passion for the construction industry, and has led our team since 2002, ensuring that each and every FCC client has a best-in-class experience.

Dave Lucas, Director of Construction

As Director of Construction, Dave Lucas’ passion is putting a project together flawlessly from concept to occupancy. He combines his construction skills with value analysis to meet project design goals, timelines and budgets, and identify potential obstacles before they become a problem. Dave confidently leads the general contracting business segment at FCC, and is the main point person for the construction team.

Jeff Davis, Director of Structural Steel

Jeff Davis oversees our structural steel services, making sure each project is safe and successful. Recently, Jeff added AISC Certification, which sets us apart from the competition while setting the quality standard for the structural steel industry nationwide. Our entire fabrication and erection process is under Jeff’s leadership, with the goal of building quality structures from the start by focusing on error prevention rather than error correction.

Wendy Dunkle, Chief Financial Officer

Wendy Dunkle has been with FCC Construction for over 12 years and worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years, after starting her career in the mechanical field. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for strategic and tactical matters, budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting and reporting, and financial planning.

Brock Mellema, Senior Project Manager

With over ten years of construction management experience, Brock brings valuable experience to our project team. He has worked on several high-profile FCC projects, including a new multi-story professional office and retail project, interior office build-outs, advanced technology and industrial/manufacturing additions, and renovations including pre-engineered metal buildings. As Senior Project Manager, Brock oversees the entire process to ensure quality, cost, schedule, and safety goals are achieved. His responsibility on the company leadership team includes contract management and project policy adherence.

Dan VanKalker, Business Development Manager

Dan excels in developing relationships with people. As our Business Development Manager, his focus is starting the initial project conversations, and will often lead the beginning of the pre-construction activities. As a licensed real estate agent, he knows the process for a successful transaction and the steps needed to develop land for commercial usage. Dan is never afraid to take on a challenge, and he proves it on weekend adventures such as scuba diving, enduro racing and sailing.

Terry VanRhee, Field Operations and Safety

Terry oversees our field operations and safety and sets the example for loyalty and dedication, recently celebrating over 30 years with FCC. He oversees all field operations, including training, performance monitoring, planning, analyzing, and ensuring that employees are working effectively and efficiently. Due to his efforts, FCC Construction was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors with their STEP award, which commends FCC for their ongoing efforts in the development of a quality safety program.
