Project Information:

FCC Construction was tasked with adding a new community pool to the Sandy Pines Resort, offering stunning views of the lake. The project came with unique challenges, including tight timelines that required most of the construction to occur during the resort’s off-season to ensure the pool was operational by opening day. The transformation began by re-purposing a former playground, which involved removing existing equipment and preparing the site. We bored new water mains and extended natural gas lines from a quarter mile away to provide heating for the pool. The completed pool spans 3,593sf and holds over 103,000 gallons of water. It features two racing lanes, a zero-entry wading area, and is heated by two 400,000 BTU heaters, ensuring year-round comfort for guests. The result is a modern, family-friendly amenity that enhances the resort’s appeal.
